I’m Jill. I like to draw, hang out with my kids, read, knit, walk my dog in the woods… the usual. I’m an artist, illustrator, and sometimes author living in Ontario, Canada.

I was trained as an art historian, and still enjoy the process of research and analysis. I turned to making my own art full time after my children were born and now work from my little desk in my living room. I’m inspired by nature and science, childhood, adventuring and mysteries, and homemade pie. Most of the works featured in my portfolio were drawn on my computer, but I enjoy working in various traditional fine art and craft materials such as watercolour and gouache, oils, embroidery, needle felting, and even egg tempera and silverpoint.
